We are looking for a passionate and motivated Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. Put your passion to work at a 5-star hotel listed as a Historic Monument.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the General Manager of the establishment, and working in collaboration with the Head Chef, your role is to:
- Develop and implement your department’s strategy to generate revenue;
- Organize resource planning, ensure the quality of services provided, and oversee the coordination of services;
- Manage food and beverage purchases (breakfast and bar) in line with the establishment’s foot traffic and the tools available within the group;
- Build customer loyalty through excellent service at every stage of their experience at the establishment and serve as an Ambassador for the Marriott BONVOY program;
- Conduct competitive intelligence and propose innovative solutions to ensure the property’s competitiveness;
- Prepare sales forecasts, budget plans, and monitor budget execution;
- Manage a team of about twenty people across different shifts;
- Conduct and participate in monthly inventory counts;
- Comply with and maintain hygiene standards as well as applicable rules in the areas of food service and public-facing establishments.
Our Food Service Department includes:
A breakfast buffet available 7 days a week, a 120-seat bistronomic restaurant (Estaminet Gantois), a bar, 24/7 room service, and a banquet area with several rooms and gardens that can accommodate up to 400 people.
Your profile
You have a degree in hospitality (bachelor’s/master’s) and proven experience in the luxury hospitality industry. You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar role and/or in a managerial position.
You pay close attention to customer satisfaction and know how to mobilize the necessary resources to provide them with a personalized experience.
Committed, dynamic, versatile, and thorough, you share your passion and positive attitude with your colleagues and customers.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second language is appreciated, as is proficiency with computer tools (including Lightspeed).
Contract:
- Permanent Contract – Manager on a fixed-day rate
- Salary: €3,500 gross + meal allowance
- Variable: 15% bonus based on results
