Versatile Server (NB/F/H)

The Novotel Lille Centre Gares is looking for a Server (M/F/N) to join its Food and Beverage team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and serve guests:
• Escort guests to their table;
• Present the menu;
• Advise and inform customers;
• Serve and present dishes;
• Handle billing and payment.

• Ensure quality of service:
• Liaise with the kitchen regarding specific requests;
• Oversee service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant, room service, the bar during lunch and dinner, and meeting rooms in collaboration with team members;
• Build customer loyalty through excellent and personalized service at every stage of the guest’s experience at the establishment;
• Promote the other services offered by the establishment;
• Notify your supervisor of any complaints.

• Be able to perform daily cash closings;

• After a training period, the employee must be able to work independently and with complete autonomy.

• Follow procedures
• Ensure that dining areas are set up;
• Ensure that equipment and facilities are clean;
• Ensure the restaurant is clean; clear tables and set them;
• Comply with and enforce the hotel’s established standards and procedures, as well as the HACCP program.

CONTRACT

Permanent contract, 39 hours per week
Salary: €2,080.39 gross

Schedule: primarily long shifts; breaks may be possible depending on business volume
