The Lille headquarters of the WiZiU Group is recruiting a Procurement, Inventory, and Supplies Manager (NB/F/M) to support the eight hotels in the Lille area.

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Director, your role will be to ensure the operational and strategic management of inventory and supplies for our hotels, as well as cost control and budget monitoring. You will also be responsible for supporting stewards in best practices, skills development, and the use of management tools. You will report to the accounting department and participate in the optimization of purchasing and F&B processes.

To this end, your tasks will include:

COST CONTROL:

  • Analyze material costs (food, beverages, cleaning products, etc.)
  • Analyze variances between actual and forecast figures (revenue, expenses, operating ratios)
  • Implement corrective actions in collaboration with operational staff
  • Ensure that expenses comply with internal policies
  • Monitor F&B ratios, applying the necessary procedures and controls
  • Identify levers for optimizing costs and maximizing revenue
  • Detect anomalies, losses, or waste
  • Monitor stocks, inventories, purchases, and consumption
  • Ensure the reliability of financial data provided by hotels.

REPORTS AND DASHBOARDS:

  • Create monthly operational and financial dashboards
  • Prepare a weekly material cost report
  • Provide a multi-site summary for the management committee
  • Highlight best practices or areas of concern

INTERNAL CONTROL:

  • Participate in the implementation or improvement of internal control procedures
  • Control sales, inventory, and purchasing processes

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT:

  • Provide functional supervision of hotel accountants. In this capacity, ensure the harmonization of procurement practices, the proper application of internal procedures, and the monitoring of performance indicators (costs, deadlines, quality).
  • Provide coordination, support, and skills development for cost controllers, and train teams in the use of management tools. Advise senior management on optimizing inventory, controlling material costs, and managing flows in order to improve the profitability and performance of establishments. Regular site visits are to be expected in order to ensure close supervision.
    • Create item databases;
    • Update data and ensure its reliability;
    • Track the creation and modification of supplier quotations;
    • Provide user training on inventory management software.

Your profile

Required profile:

  • Education: BTS/DUT or equivalent (hospitality, management, management control, purchasing)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in commissary, purchasing, or management control, ideally in a multi-site environment
  • Skills: Inventory management, cost tracking, Excel and office tools, hotel software (POS, inventory management, technical data sheets, recipes), analysis and reporting
  • Behavioral: Rigorous, autonomous, analytical mind, ability to work across departments, communication and teaching skills, ability to train and support teams

Contract:

Permanent contract

Executive status with fixed daily rate

Salary: €3,500 gross + variable remuneration based on targets
