Following an internal promotion, Le Couvent des Minimes is looking for its Maître d’Hôtel Restaurant (NB/F/H).
Attached to the establishment’s Restaurant team, you may be required to work in the various areas of which are: Breakfast, Bar and Banquets; and your missions are:
Operational room service management
- Accompanying Heads of Ranks and waiters in the course of service;
- Ensure the quality of F&B services and compliance with defined standards;
- Take into account customer requests and feedback to provide an appropriate response and escalate information to F&B Management;
- Manage the cash register and monitor related procedures;
- Service and support other F&B departments as needed;
- Promote other services offered by the facility.
Team leadership
- Ensure team integration, training and skills development;
- Facilitate briefings and ensure the proper transmission of information to the team and other F&B departments
- Provide feedback on operational resource requirements and participate in building schedules
Administrative management
- Ensure proper inventory management (beverages, non-food products) and escalate needs;
- Participate in menu creation (layout, printing, communication)
- Ensure proper application of department procedures (including HACCP).
Service quality
- Guarantee customer satisfaction and ensure impeccable service during events.
- Proactively handle customer complaints or special requests.
- Ensure compliance with the establishment’s quality standards, cleanliness and safety.
Your profile
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven sense of service. Organized by nature, you are able to demonstrate versatility, always paying particular attention to the smallest details. You enjoy working as part of a team and are rigorous in carrying out your assignments.You are recognized for your natural leadership skills.
You have proven experience in the Restaurant sector, particularly in hotel catering. Your level of English enables you to work effectively in a professional context.

L’Alliance – Couvent des minimes is a 4-star establishment where history and modernity meet. Located just a few steps from the Grand Place, it enjoys a relaxing environment. The hotel has 75 rooms and 8 suites. Its restaurant offers traditional cuisine with regional specialities. Two bars complete the restaurant offer, including a champagne bar in a magnificent suspended glass roof. The hotel has 7 lounges that can accommodate up to 300 guests.
