Job description

The store manager is responsible for managing the store, coordinating the team, and actively participating in service. He/she ensures that the team performs its tasks properly, in accordance with standards and with the aim of maximizing customer satisfaction. He/she monitors the progress of service and its smooth running by maintaining efficient and constant communication with his/her team and the kitchen team. Specific duties:

Ensures customer satisfaction and is responsible for handling complaints.

Is responsible for handling complaints when necessary.

Works with the catering manager and the operations manager to implement measures aimed at creating the restaurant’s atmosphere and promoting it.

Ensures that Le Méridien brand programs are implemented.

Assists the team during service (setting up, greeting customers, taking orders, serving orders, clearing tables, tidying up, etc.).

Complies with and ensures that the entire team complies with legislation concerning the distribution of alcohol and food hygiene.

Reports any equipment malfunctions to the Technical Manager and Food and Beverage Manager.

Participates in periodic inventories.

Checks stock levels and requisitions.

Manages cash receipts and cash register checks, in collaboration with the accounting department, in accordance with company procedures and ISRA procedures.

Leads daily team meetings at the start of the shift and ensures that they take place in their absence.

Is familiar with the cash register system and can train their team in its proper use.
