Job description
Operational management of front-of-house service
- Supporting head waiters and servers in the execution of service;
- Ensuring the quality of F&B services and compliance with defined standards;
- Address customer requests and feedback to provide an appropriate response and relay information to F&B Management;
- Manage the cash register and ensure compliance with related procedures;
- Promote the other services offered by the establishment.
Team leadership
- Ensure the onboarding, training, and skill development of teams;
- Lead briefings and ensure the effective communication of information to the team and other departments;
- Report operational resource needs, participate in schedule creation, and monitor absences.
Administrative Management
- Ensure proper inventory management (beverages, non-food items) and report on needs;
- Participate in menu creation (layout, printing, communication);
- Ensure proper implementation of service procedures (including HACCP).
Service Quality
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide quality service across all points of sale;
- Proactively handle customer complaints or special requests;
- Ensure compliance with Marriott quality standards, as well as the cleanliness and safety of the establishment.

Contract: Fixed-term Replacement Contract – 39 hours
Salary: €2,458.42 monthly + Meal allowances/Benefits in kind

L’Hermitage Gantois, a franchise of the Autograph Collection by Marriott brand, is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Lille. Housed in a 15th-century building classified as a historic monument, it combines an exceptional setting with history and modernity. The hotel features 89 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar, and a spa. Its seven event spaces (including the Salle des Hospices, the Chapel, and the Oratory) can accommodate up to 300 guests.
