L’Hermitage Gantois is looking for a versatile kitchen assistant (M/F).
As a versatile kitchen assistant, you will assist our team with food preparation. You will be required to prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene and safety regulations for the hotel restaurant, banqueting and group events.
Main responsibilities:
- Participating in the reception and inspection of goods (checking dates, quality, and product compliance)
- Participate in the preparation and plating of dishes
- Strictly apply technical specifications and quality standards
- Contribute to the delivery of dishes and ensure smooth service
- Participate in plating dishes in accordance with presentation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen and dining room team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the kitchen, pastry shop, and equipment

Key qualities:
Rigorousness and attention to detail are the two main qualities required to succeed in this position. Good stress resistance and communication skills are also required.
With training (CAP, additional qualification, etc.), you have at least 1 year of significant experience in a similar position or as a kitchen apprentice.
The person must be available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Contract: Permanent contract, 39 hours per week
Salary: €2062.42 per month
