Job description
Under the supervision of the Breakfast Manager and their assistant, you will:
- Be responsible for setting up the dining area assigned to you in accordance with service procedures
- Ensure an exceptional experience from the moment your customer arrives until they leave
- Ensure the smooth flow of service, guest satisfaction, and the handling of complaints
- Promote and highlight the products offered at the point of sale
- Actively listen and respond positively to all questions, complaints, and requests by following the Le Méridien process to resolve issues, delight the guest, and build trust
- Verify the accuracy of billing and collections, and perform a cash count
- Apply and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations
- Communicate operational, sales, and customer information to your managers and colleagues in a shift report
- Train new arrivals and ensure they acquire the necessary skills
- Be responsible for the equipment entrusted to you; restock and maintain the consoles
- Carry out tasks with elegance, discretion, and professionalism
- Be familiar with the hotel’s services to meet guest requests
- Follow the procedures outlined in the establishment’s eco-friendly policy
