Job description
Reporting to your manager, your primary responsibility will be to welcome and serve our guests in the restaurant; you will also be required to provide service at the bar or for our seminar guests (cocktail receptions, buffets, etc.). You will serve as our hotel’s ambassador to guests and partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and serve guests
- Escort guests to their tables
- Present the menu and daily specials
- Advise and inform guests
- Serve and present dishes
- Handle payments
- Ensure quality of service
- Liaise with the kitchen regarding specific requests
- Build customer loyalty through excellent and personalized service at every stage of their experience at the establishment
- Master the details of the menu to drive up-selling
- Promote other services offered by the establishment
- Handle customer complaints and report them to your supervisor
- Support the front-of-house team (servers, runners, apprentices)
- Guide teams in managing service
- Participate in the operational training of new employees
- Ensure the proper setup of dining areas
- Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and premises
- Comply with and enforce the hotel’s standards and procedures, as well as the HACCP protocol
Your profile
KEY QUALITIES:
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven commitment to customer service. You are naturally organized and versatile, always paying close attention to the smallest details. You enjoy working in a team and are thorough in carrying out your tasks. Professional-level English is essential.
You have prior experience in a similar role. Your English proficiency allows you to work effectively in a professional setting.
