Job description
- Be responsible for setting up the dining area assigned to you in accordance with service procedures
- Ensure an exceptional experience from the moment your guest arrives until they depart
- Monitor service flow, guest satisfaction, and the handling of complaints
- Promote and highlight the products offered at the outlet
- Actively listen and respond positively to all questions, complaints, and requests by following Le Méridien’s process to resolve issues, delight the guest, and build trust
- Verify the accuracy of billing and collections and perform a cash count
- Apply and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations
- Communicate structural, commercial, and customer information to your managers and colleagues in a shift report
- Train new hires and ensure they acquire the necessary skills
- Be responsible for the equipment entrusted to you; restock and maintain the consoles
- Perform tasks with elegance, discretion, and professionalism
- Be familiar with the hotel’s services to respond to guest requests
- Follow the procedures inherent in the establishment’s eco-responsible policy
