Job description
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and the Sous Chef, you will:
- Help coordinate the team of kitchen apprentices, kitchen assistants, and demi-chefs de partie in preparing dishes for the various menus, in accordance with pre-established technical specifications and company standards.
- Supervise your team’s workstations
- Rotate through various stations and service areas as directed by your supervisor
- Coordinate the management of customer orders to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Communicate with the dining room staff throughout the service, providing all necessary information to ensure exceptional service for our customers
- Mentor and train new employees
- Strictly apply and enforce safety rules and HACCP standards
- Ensure that records are properly maintained in accordance with food safety procedures (temperature, expiration dates, etc.)
- Follow the procedures outlined in the establishment’s eco-responsible policy
- Communicate calmly, respectfully, and courteously with all staff members
