Job description
The Hilton Lille Hotel is looking for a Chef de Rang (NB/F/H) to strengthen its team for its restaurant, bar, room service and banqueting activities.
Under the responsibility of your manager, your main mission will be to take care of and serve our customers in the restaurant, you will also be asked to do service in the bar or for our seminar clientele (cocktail, buffet…). You will be our hotel’s ambassador to our customers and partners.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Welcome and serve customers
- Accompany customers to their table
- Present the menu and daily suggestions
- Advise and inform customers
- Serve and present dishes
- Manage cash collection

- Ensure quality of service
- Link with the kitchen on specificities requested
- Foster customer loyalty through excellence and personalized service at every stage of their experience within the establishment
- Master the specifics of the menu in order to develop additional sales
- Promote other services offered by the establishment
- Manage customer complaints and report them to your line manager
- Accompany the front-of-house team (waiters, runners, apprentices)
- Guide teams in service management
- Participate in the operational training of new employees
- Ensure the set-up of Restoration areas
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and premises
- Respect and ensure respect for the standards and procedures in place in the hotel, as well as the HACCP approach
Your profile
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven sense of service. Naturally organized, you are able to demonstrate versatility, always paying particular attention to the smallest details. You enjoy working as part of a team and are rigorous in carrying out your tasks. Professional English is essential.
You have previous experience in a similar position. Your level of English enables you to work effectively in a professional context.
