Reporting to the Front Desk Manager,
MAIN DUTIES
The night auditor is responsible for daily accounting tasks (invoices, processing payments, accounting reports, etc.)
He/she welcomes guests and provides them with information on the terms of their stay, formalities, rates, and accommodation options in accordance with the establishment’s quality charter and sales policy.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares the daily closing of accounts for the front desk and verifies the accuracy of transactions: billing, collection of payments
- Updates activity tracking records: reservations, cancellations, sales, etc.
- Generates statistical reports: occupancy rate, average rate, etc.
- Verifies guests’ creditworthiness and handles all currency exchange transactions
- Prepares a nightly report and forwards any customer requests to the receptionist taking over the shift
- Sends reports via email to the relevant departments/individuals (management, daily operations, etc.)
