1st Reception (NB/M/F)

The Art Deco Romarion Hotel is hiring a Front Desk Manager (NB/M/F) to strengthen its front desk team.

Reporting to the Executive Assistant, you will ensure the quality of guest reception and actively contribute to the smooth operation of the front desk department.

Reception and Customer Relations

• Warmly welcome guests and ensure they have a high-quality experience from the moment they arrive.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with the hotel’s policies.
• Inform guests about the amenities and services offered by the hotel.
• Respond promptly to specific guest requests (additional in-room amenities, information, reservations, etc.).
• Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.

Operational Management

Working with the Executive Assistant, you will help organize and manage the department:

• Participate in training and supporting the teams.
• Assign tasks and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Implement, enforce, and monitor internal procedures.
• Manage cash registers and track billing and accounts receivable.
• Communicate essential information to the teams and various departments within the hotel.
• Oversee the creation and monitoring of schedules in the absence of the Front Desk Manager.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel’s quality standards and procedures.

With a background in hospitality, you have significant experience in reception, ideally in a position of responsibility.

You are thorough, organized, and self-reliant, and you know how to make the right decisions and manage priorities.

You are known for your excellent customer service skills, your interpersonal skills, and your ability to work well in a team.

You are fluent in business English, both spoken and written.

Experience working at a 3- or 4-star hotel, as well as proficiency with the OPERA software, is a significant asset.

Contract:
Permanent contract – full-time > 39 hours/week
Level II, Step 3
Salary: 2,225.73 euros gross
