Versatile Server (M/F/H)

The Novotel Lille Centre Gares is looking for a Versatile Server to join its Food & Beverage team

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and serve guests:
• Escort guests to their table;
• Present the menu;
• Advise and inform customers;
• Serve and present dishes;
• Handle billing and payment processing.

• Ensure quality of service:
• Liaise with the kitchen regarding specific requests;
• Ensure service for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant, room service, the bar at lunch or dinner, and meeting rooms in collaboration with team members;
• Build customer loyalty through excellence and personalized service at every stage of their experience at the establishment;
• Promote the other services offered by the establishment;
• Notify your supervisor of any complaints.

• Be able to perform daily cash closings;

• After a training period, the employee must be able to work independently and with complete autonomy.

• Follow procedures
• Ensure that dining areas are set up;
• Ensure that equipment and premises are clean;
• Ensure the restaurant is clean; clear and set tables;
• Comply with and enforce the hotel’s established standards and procedures, as well as the HACCP system.

CONTRACT

Permanent contract, 39 hours per week
Salary: €2,058.42 gross

Schedule: primarily long shifts, breaks possible depending on activity

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

You have solid experience in a similar role.

Your level of English allows you to work effectively in a professional setting.

You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a proven commitment to customer service. Naturally organized, you are versatile and always pay close attention to the smallest details. You enjoy working in a team and are thorough in carrying out your tasks.
