Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Front Desk Supervisor ensures the smooth running of daily Front Desk operations, with a constant focus on guaranteeing the satisfaction of guests and employees. He/she also assists the Front Office Manager and the Front Office Assistant with certain administrative tasks and team management.

  • Supervises the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensures customer and employee satisfaction, and upholds company standards.
  • Manages, together with the team, check-in, check-out, information, payment, and billing procedures for guests, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with company standards and given instructions.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the reconciliation between Marsha and Opéra for the day in question, as well as the proper allocation of rooms based on reservations made and guest requests.
  • Communicates instructions between shifts to ensure continuity of service.
  • Handles customer complaints to provide an appropriate solution for each type of complaint.
  • Records any incident or comment received from a customer in the GXP system and ensures the team does the same.
  • Follows up on and resolves customer complaints, ensuring final customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that the list of guests occupying the rooms is always up to date, to guarantee their comfort and safety.
  • Ensures that guest registration cards (cardex) are kept up to date.
  • Processes and follows up on emails.
