Le Couvent des Minimes is looking for a Versatile Kitchen Assistant (NB/F/M) for a fixed-term replacement contract.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to the plan, following culinary techniques and technical specifications
- Ensuring that the dishes, equipment, and tools provided, as well as the work surface, are perfectly clean
- May be required to replace their line manager (sous chef/chef de partie) at the request of senior management
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of the service
- Ensure the proper functioning of the materials and equipment made available to them and inform their superiors in the event of a breakdown, defect, or malfunction
- Preparation of hot/cold dishes (buffet), basic sauces, cooking
- Application of current procedures
- Application of any new procedures issued by management
- Notifying management of any stock shortages
- Assist with the necessary training of each team member who requires it
- Perform duties at all existing times in the department and in any position within the company corresponding to their qualifications upon request by their superiors
- Respect the schedules and timetables established by their superiors and be required to perform their duties at all times in the department (day/evening).
- Responsible for their uniform and appearance
- Perform any other tasks, whether occasional or regular, as requested by management
- Comply with health and safety rules and internal regulations

L’Alliance – Couvent des Minimes is a 4-star establishment where history and modernity come together. Located a few steps from the Grand Place, it enjoys a relaxing environment. The hotel has 75 rooms and 8 suites. Its restaurant offers traditional cuisine with regional specialties. Two bars complete the dining experience, including one dedicated to champagne in a magnificent suspended glass roof. The hotel has 7 lounges that can accommodate up to 300 people.
