Job description
- Be responsible for setting up the restaurant area assigned to you in accordance with service procedures
- Ensure an exceptional experience from the moment your customer arrives until they leave.
- Ensure smooth service, customer satisfaction, and complaint handling.
- Market and highlight the products offered at the point of sale.
- Actively listen and respond positively to any questions, complaints, and requests by following the Le Méridien process to resolve issues, delight the customer, and create a sense of trust.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and receipts and prepare the cash register.
- Apply and enforce food hygiene and safety rules.
- Communicate structural, commercial, and customer information to your managers and colleagues in a service progress report.
- Train new arrivals and ensure they acquire the necessary skills.
- Be responsible for the equipment entrusted to you, supply and maintain the consoles.
- Carry out your duties with elegance, discretion, and professionalism.
- Be familiar with the hotel’s services in order to respond to customer requests.
- Comply with the procedures inherent in the establishment’s eco-responsible policy.
