Job description
The Hotel de Bourgtheroulde is looking for its future Bar Supervisor.
Your duties will include:
1. Operational management of the bar
.

Supervise the smooth running of service at the “L’Atrium” bar: welcome, order taking, service, cashing.

Manage a team of barmen/barmaids (planning, organizing shifts, upgrading skills).

Ensure impeccable service in line with Marriott 5-star standards.
2. Offer development
-
Participate in the development of the drinks and cocktails menu (signature menu, seasonal innovations).

Oversee the quality of products served: drinks, garnishes, glassware, etc.
-
Set up promotional actions: happy hours, theme evenings, signature cocktails.
3. Administrative and logistical support
-
Manage inventory, orders, stocktaking and supplier relations.
-
Ensure compliance with hygiene (HACCP), safety and legislation (license IV, alcohol).

Regular reporting to management (bar results, customer feedback, equipment/personnel requirements).
4. Customer relations and brand image
-
To represent the upscale image of the hotel and the Marriott group.

Create a friendly, elegant atmosphere in the bar area.

Enlist the loyalty of local and international customers through a personalized experience.
Your profile
Technical skills:
-
Solid command of bar techniques (mixology, high-end service, mastery of spirits & wines).

Ability to manage a team and a hotel establishment.

Skills in inventory management, ordering and HACCP standards.
Personal qualities:
-
Excellent presentation and sense of detail.
-
Natural leadership, autonomy and responsiveness.
-
Creativity (innovative cocktails, ambiance, product showcasing).
-
Sense of service and customer relations, even in demanding situations.
Training and experience:
-
Training in hospitality or bar (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS, or specialized schools).

Minimum 2 to 3 years experience as a senior bartender or bar supervisor, ideally in a luxury establishment.
