As Quality & Cleanliness Manager, you play a key role in the customer experience within our establishment. A true guarantor of cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with quality standards, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Housekeeping department, in close collaboration with our service provider (subcontracting company), as well as for managing an in-house team of 3 team members dedicated to the upkeep of common areas and public spaces.
Mainly, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel’s public areas.
Main duties
Quality and standards management:
- Guarantee compliance with hygiene and quality standards throughout the establishment (rooms, public areas, service areas, etc.);
- Implement quality control procedures for the Housekeeping department (audits, checklists, regular inspections);
- Ensure follow-up of quality audits (DUER, RSE, Hilton, …) and deployment of associated action plans;
- Monitor customer complaints related to cleanliness and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration with the subcontracting company:
- Coordinate and manage relations with the subcontracted cleaning company (daily briefings, performance monitoring, reporting);
- Control the proper execution of services (room cleaning, deadlines, costs);
- Define staffing requirements and operational adjustments with the service provider.
Management of in-house teams:
- Supervise and lead a team of 3 team members responsible for cleaning public areas (lobby, washrooms, elevators, corridors, etc.) and checking rooms;
- Organize schedules, monitor absences, motivate and train staff;
- Supervise the proper supply of cleaning products and compliance with health and safety rules.
Administrative follow-up:
- Manage stocks of linen, cleaning products and equipment;
- Perform monthly room reconciliations to control invoicing by the subcontracting company;
- Work closely with technical services, reception and management to ensure smooth coordination;
- Participate in Housekeeping department budget monitoring (inventories, consumption control, …).
Your profile
Profile wanted
- Proven experience as a General Gouvernant or Housekeeping Manager in an internationally branded hotel establishment;
- Solid ability to manage internal and external teams;
- A keen eye for detail, service quality and customer satisfaction;
- Good command of office tools (Excel, hotel software, etc.), mastery of OnQ would be an asset to your application;
- Ability to adapt, autonomy, responsiveness and diplomacy;
- Fluency in French; English is an asset.
Contract:
CDI – Full-time (39h)
Salary: 2458.51€ gross
