Job description
Le Couvent des Minimes is looking for its Commis de Cuisine (NB/F/H).
Missions:
- Culinary preparation according to the planning set up in compliance with culinary art and technical sheets
- Ensures the perfect state of cleanliness of dishes, materials and equipment made available to him/her, as well as his/her work plan
- May be required to replace his/her direct superior (demi chef de partie/ chef de partie) at the request of the hierarchy

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Set up the service
- Ensure the proper functioning of the material and equipment made available to him/her and inform his/her hierarchy in the event of breakdowns, malfunctions or operating anomalies
- Hot/cold preparations (buffet), basic sauces, cooking
- Application of current procedures
- Application of any new procedures coming from his hierarchy
- Notify his hierarchy of any shortages
- Assist in the necessary training of each team member who requires it
- Assume his duties at all existing times in the department and at any position in the company corresponding to his qualification upon simple request from his hierarchy
- Respect the schedules and timetables established by his/her hierarchy and will be required to perform his/her duties at all times existing in the department (day/evening)
- Responsible for his/her uniform and presentation
- Perform any other task, punctual or regular, at the request of his/her hierarchy
- Respect health and safety rules, as well as internal regulations

The hotel has 75 rooms and 8 suites. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine with regional specialties. Two bars complete the catering offer, including one dedicated to champagne in a magnificent suspended glass roof. The hotel has 7 lounges that can accommodate up to 300 people.
