The Hotel de Bourgtheroulde and its dynamic team are looking for an Assistant Room Manager on a sandwich course to support our Room Manager and actively participate in orchestrating services. A great opportunity to learn to manage a team in a refined and demanding setting.
Your daily routine:
- Be the right-hand man to the Room Manager and Bar Supervisor and participate in the coordination of the Catering department;
- Organize the service of the front-of-house team in collaboration with the Front-of-house Manager and ensure fluidity between front-of-house and kitchen;
- Participate in briefings at the start and end of service;
- Guarantee the application of the hotel’s quality standards;
- Control the set-up and proper execution of the service;
- Accompany and train the Chef.fes de Rang and Serveur.euses;
- Manage customer complaints with courtesy and diplomacy;
- Contribute to customer satisfaction throughout the service;
- Closing the service: closing, checking tills, passing on instructions;
- Learn, progress, propose!
Your profile
Your profile:
- You are preparing a training course in the hotel and catering industry (BTS, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent) on a sandwich course;
- You are dynamic, organized, a good listener, and enjoy coordinating a team;
- You have a natural ease with customers and enjoy a job well done;
- You want to learn how to manage a department as a whole, while evolving in a prestigious environment;
- First experience is appreciated, but your motivation and desire to learn will make all the difference.
Contract & conditions:
- Apprenticeship contract in partnership with a hotel school;
- Remuneration according to the legal grid in force + 2 food allowances per day.
